Where We Practice
Class takes place during week @ the Florida Fencing Academy (please see below for days & times) & on the weekend in moderate weather, you can find us in nature @ the 4th Ave. Food Park Beirgarten in Gainesville, FL.
* Note: If on Saturday, it's too hot (above 90), too cold (below 40), or too stormy, you can find us at the Florida Fencing Academy.

During the week (M,W,F 11:45 a.m.- 12:45 p.m.) we are located at the Florida Fencing Academy. Here we have plenty of space to move around, practice kicks, strikes, and combos using a variety of techniques (air, hand pads, & shields) that all work together to build your strength, form, ease of movement, and flexibility in the temperature regulated building.
*Please trim nails, bring water, & a mat.
Location 2: 4th Ave. Food Park Saturdays 10:30- Noonish
(409 SW 4th Ave, Gainesville, FL 32601)
On the weekends you will find us in the rad, tree-covered backyard of Opus Coffee & Fehrenbacher's Artisan Sausages. Class is often followed by optional sparring for those wanting/ready to test their skills. Afterwards you may find us grabbing a bite/beverage at one of the various delectable eating spots (Opus Coffee Roasters, Fehrenbacher's Artisan Sausages, Cilantro Tacos, Dick Mondell's Burgers & Shakes, Baker Baker, or Humble Pie).
Life is full of the unexpected. When we work with guidance and breath through the variations found in nature (uneven flooring, ranges in temperatures, etc.) we get to practice techniques that allow us to be better adapted to dealing with change with the ease of someone who's got this. You too can practice this way with us on Saturdays . On days too hot (above 90), too cold (below 40), or too rainy (cats & dogs), you can find us at the first location, The Florida Fencing Academy... yes, your instructor is a bit like Goldilocks, though more hardcore and adaptive. Haha!
* Please bring water, trimmed nails, & a large blanket or towel.
** Touch base with any questions/concerns and give a quick call/ text to confirm attendance to best meet the needs of each student and to have enough training gear. Thanks.
